ROOMS

One child, one bed is our policy. And at present we have a couple of empty beds, so if you would also like to help us fill these empty beds with kids who never asked to be orphaned, please contact us.

We have 2 separate dorms, 1 for the boys, and 1 for the girls. The old look after the young and there are 4 beds per room. All the youngsters have cuddly toys.

We prioritize the morality of “Clean space promotes a clean mind” and Jev constantly checks every nook and cranny to keep a high standard.

BOARD

The children receive 3 large meals a day and 1 snack-time in the afternoon. We use 25 kg of rice per day as it is a staple for the children. Jev insists on a balanced diet so the children get either beef, fish or chicken at least once a day (of course with plenty of vegetables!).

We try to minimize fried food and wish we could give more fruit, however fruit everyday is too expensive for us. We currently have 1 donor helping us with fruit monthly, however more donors for fruit could mean more nutrition for our kids.

FAMILY

Our children are very close to both Mike and Jev. Not only do they have full run of the orphanage but they have plenty of activities done together everyday to keep increasing the family bond.

We call all the children our children, and as such we do the best for them and love them just like our own biological children. Mama Sayang is all about giving opportunity and most of these kids will do their best and try their hardest to grab every opportunity they come across.

We keep in contact with most alumni, and they are always welcome to return.
